The first prog album I ever got to know. Supertramp never really released anything up to par with "Crime of the Century" and it remains the most timeless.

It is a full fledged concept album, an Supertramp's best contribution to progressive music, and also the best of their creation.

Every song is excellent, School and Rudy provoke chills of the spine like no other. The keys are particularly excellent, and guitar is not featured too often. Dynamics are incredible, if listening on a large speaker set up it is a religious experience.

Quite under appreciated album, get the MFSL Remastering or the original LP if you can. This is a milestone of rock music, and one of the best concept albums ever. Absolutely essential!
