5 stars I was introduced to Egyptian Kings by a friend in Portugal, and im grateful to him. The masterpiece album "Almagest" is visionary stuff, completely emotional and beautiful. And i´m really admired that this revolutionary album came from Portugal, that does not have great traditions in progressive music. The influences came from the Space Rock, Post Rock, Electronic Prog and Symphonic Prog. I really have nothing more to add to all the good things said in the other reviews, just expect to hear something really new, with awesome structure and prepare to be lost in the music, so lost you don't know how you got there and you never want to go back. You never even want to know where it is you started out. The highlights of this album are "Low Mass Stars", that is perhaps the most perfect creation on the album, were the original genius of the band reached a high point and you find yourself being moved in a way that you cannot describe, and "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" that is dreamy and deep cosmic with melancholic air all around, and in the final seconds a dark moment erupts from the calm and its ethereal powerful!

This is truly one of the all-time best albums, and I know I'm not alone in my opinion of this! Prepare to took a trip beyond the limits of space!
