5 stars Amaseffer created an extraordinary album of progressive metal, I would consider it one of the best conceptual progressive metal albums I've heard. Pretty similar in the concept and a bit in the style to Mabool by Orphaned Land. This album focuses on the Exodus of the Jewish out of Egypt, described in the Old Testament of the Bible. The album has impressive orchestration passages combined with eastern folk music and of course, metal! I like the hints they give to death metal in some parts (if you are listening to the album and imagining the complete scenes in each song, you may imagine the growling voice as the intense moments where the pharaoh persecuted the jewish, or when the plagues fell down on Egypt, astonishing!). There are some tracks that are completely instrumental, focusing on the folklore of the region. All the album is incredible from beginning to end. I dare to say: 5 stars
