4 stars Devil Doll second effort is a little more gothic and delicate than the first one The Girls Who Was... Death. Once again Mr. Doctor and friends reaches high levels of emotion and some musical moments that makes you goosebumps.

The album is divided in two parts: Mr. Doctor (20:30) and Eliogabalus (24:40). The first part is more "metal" and rhythmical tan the second one which is closer to chamber music and gothic elements. The correct use of classical instruments such as piano, viola and tuba creates an strange and scary atmosphere which crosses all the album. If you add the decadent poetic lyrucs and the gloomy voice of Mr. Doctor (man of 1000 voices) as a result you have an album full of brilliant musical moments even when there are some parts definetively bored.

Special mention to the Devil Chorus conducted by Marian Bunic. Really amazing and one of the highlights of this album which is -at last- a step beyond into Devil Doll's discography and a great announcement of the coming albums...

4* No doubt!!!
