1 stars Our boundaries as to what is prog have widened! I've always concidered The Doors a band tied to progressive music in spirit, but not in their music. This album has some solid rock songs with elements of prog, and also some very boring repedative simple songs. But it's a fun, jumpy album regardless. For those looking for a look into prog's roots, or for those who need a break from pure prog but don't want to delve too far away, this may interest you. But for others, who are searching for sophisticated music (lyrically, emotionally, instrumentally, et cetera), then I really warn you to steer clear of this album!
