WAVING AT US, WE'VE PROVOKED

Deus Nuvem (God Cloud) is a Brazilian band that is really new. Their focus is to do a sound that is Experimental in all senses. The band was born in Rio De Janeiro in 2010 and it's a trio Leo M Pe (bass clarinet, guitars and synthesizers), Thiago 'Dagotta' Cereno (drums) and Fernando César (bass), but they also have some input in their debut EP Waving At Us, We've Provoked (2012) from André Fernandez (violin), Michel Moro (alto saxophone) and Pedro Cabral (keyboards). Not just that, many other musicians are here Iuri Nicolsky (saxophone), Antonio Neves (trombone), Lui Coimbra (cello), Bárbara Coelho (vocals) e Jéssica Araújo (percussion).

Waving At Us, We've Provoked (2012) was released only in digital format as a free download album in their website in February 2012. In the album the Brazilian band doesn't focus in one single style of Prog Rock, in fact their focus is to play all styles. Experimental, Fusion, Post-Rock, Jazz, Nu-Jazz and Psychedelia are some of their influences.

Waving At Us, We've Provoked (2012) is one of the most interesting albums that came from Brazil in 2012, one of the most interesting plays from last year.
