Sophocles
4 stars So, we have a new self-titled album by these guys, meaning that they believe in a new beginning. I still don't know if there is such a great change but the album is outstanding, a step forward for them without Neal Morse.

Drummer's voice fits nicely to the music, which is great, sometimes simple and sometimes complex. It is progressive rock but with the exception of some songs that you feel that simply exist in this record. Without being bad some songs don't add to the result. In the finale it is a fabulous album with great compositions, various styles and clever lyrics.

It's not a masterpiece and it's not their finest work but it is far better than Octane and in the right direction. I surely enjoy it. Great effort.
