3 stars A movie worth seeing at least once. When I was in high school and college I saw it a couple of times and that was enough. It is pretty well done. However, one should keep in mind that Waters himself felt it was not successful and was ultimately disappointed with the result. Personally, I think he was just bitter that the director made him go away for 6 months while they did the filming so the director could do what he did best, direct, without the interference of Waters ego on proceedings. Basically, if you are a Floyd fan at all, you need to see this. If you like the Wall, you need to see this. If you like depressing, dark, dismal and somewhat deranged movies, you need to see this. Otherwise, see it anyway :-)

For myself, I don't know if I would want to watch it again. I have much less angst and depression in my life, so this film would not resonate the way it once did for me. I'll give it 3 stars (since, after all, it is not really an album or a traditional live performance video, but an actual movie), and would maybe raise that to 3.5 stars for Floyd fans.
