5 stars What can one say? This is simply beauty, lean power, eerie, and one of the best efforts by Mr. Peter Hammill. He hits the mark with his vocals, lyrics and production, which must have been shaped with the talents of David Lord.

Art song, by art song, you're taken down a path of (of course with Hammill) serious self inspection, and realization of the truth about our world around us. The length of songs are perfect, with it never being too long to get to the point, yet long enough for Peter Hammill to paint his vivid imagination into a picture of sublime mystery.

I had sort of given up on Peter Hammill, as it all seemed a bit trite and too personal. But, this one reeled me back into his world of incredible lyrics and personal dreams. A good place to start if you're a novice to Mr. Hammill.
