I am amazed at how great this sounds! If you like early 70's King Crimson or ELP,but with a more agressive edge,you may like this. The singer sings in Italian and sounds a bit heavy metalish at times. Well, onto the songs...Introduzione starts off with an almost 3 minute vocal solo,with some female vocal work. Then, the music kicks in and does not seem to let up much,with swirling keyboards,intense playing(it kind of reminds me of the "Trilogy'' song by ELP). Introduzione segues into Primo Incontro,which is another great song,and ends with some zither-like playing. In my opinion, I think they should have made this just one 18.5 minute song. "Secondo Incontro'' is next,which starts off with a 20 second heavy metal -like vocal solo,then the music comes in,segueing into ''Terzo Incontro'',which starts off with a 10 second bass solo,then the music comes in. Again, they should have made secondo and terzo incontro just one whole song and given it one song title, as one song seems to segue into another, as with the introduzione and primo incontro songs. But,as I said ,that is just my opinion. "Epilogo'' is next, clocking in at about 11.5 minutes,and kind of reminds me of ''Starless/Red''-era KING CRIMSON,with it's feel. "Epilogo'' ends with a 30 or 40 second female vocal solo. The cd bonus track ''La Tua Casa Comoda'' is not as intense sounding as the other songs, but still good. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give this a 4.25. I recommend buying this! Hopefully, you will not be dissapointed. I was not!
