2 stars I must start by saying that even though I liked the album I'm not that impressed by the work that's been put to this album. Songs like One Small Step and Carried by the Wind really made it worth it for me to hear it. I can't argue cause this the softer part of Universal Migrator. The album in essence it's good, but I feel like I'm hearing a non prog metal band.

The album it's not that bad and I must say I liked Universal Migrator pt 2 a lot more. The Dream Sequencer kicks of with a tremendously Pink Floyd style guitar solo. As for the rest of the album it's not that bad but it isn't great. I think counting it together: Part 1 and Part 2 it's definitely good and if you're an Ayreon fan you'll surely like the softer side of Ayreon.

In overall I give it a 2.5.
