4 stars After the band's great debut, they continued from strength to strength. Sticking with the same format, classical guitar, woodwind, bass drums, they continued to produce a high quality and unique kind of folky jazz. The sound on this LP is much heavier, with the rhythm section being far more prominent. The opening track will definatley appeal to fans of label mates VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR with a hint of JETHRO TULL. Some tracks are lengthy and have improvised passages. Check out the sax solo at the end of The Raid. Keith Gemmell firing on all cylinders on the sax, marvelous ear-splitting stuff.

I have to say that this is probably my best AUDIENCE lp. Was thinking of giving a 5 star, but it's just short of masterpiece status, so 4.5 stars I'm afraid. Great album throughout, though, with a wonderful cover to boot.
