4 stars In 1974 me & a friend purchased Queen 1 & Queen 2. We waited in anticipation for another heavy album but were disappointed when we found out it was closer to being a pop album.

All these years ago I realize that Queen was the first 'real' band to go more poppy. However, unlike all the others they did it so cheekily you quite happily accepted it.

The music is less serious than their first 2 albums but it's still good stuff.

My personal favourites are 1. Flick of the Wrist 2. She Makes Me. 3. Tenement Funster.

Don't expect anything profound but like much of Mr Zappa it's damn good fun.
