5 stars Led Zeppelin changed his direction (for a while) on a little bit more elaborated style, folky, acoustically oriented. Songs like "Since I've been lovin' you", "Celebration day" and the opening track, remain being classic rockers numbers; but the special and new touch comes from the acoustic tracks, as "Friends", "Gallows Pole", "That's the Way" and "Bron-y-aur Stomp". For that reason, this album is a brilliant moment of Zep's early discography, an unique chance to listen to this hard-rocker band making folky songs, with a pleasant and personal style.

Personally, I've had enough listening to Led Zeppelin I and II, played with that typical power and simplicity coming from a hard-rock band's debut: agressive riffs, hard beats and Plant screaming such a dying pig. In the other hand, Zep III is an intelligent offer, being delightful as much for rockers as for curious people that want to know them.
