3 stars Not the best way to introduce yourself into Belew's solo discography. A nice album indeed but a little poppish and full of Beatles reminiscenses; simple and short songs even when all the album is perfectly composed and played by Adrian (he plays all the instruments on this album). At the end, sounds like a musician bored of complex compositions trying to make something to relax.

Is not a bad album but not precisely prog. The only "crimsonian" song could be This Is What I Believe In. Other highlights, by powerful riffs and/or decent guitar parts, correct composition, lyrics and superficial musical beauty are The War In The Gulf Between Us, Big Blue Sun and I Walk Alone.

I insist, if you are lloking for a prog album this will not your cup of tea. But if you are looking for a nice album to listen, with Beatles inffluences and almost pop, this one could be the recommended to you...
