4 stars Somehow I had managed to avoid listening to Uriah Heep until just recently. Not on purpose, but just never thought to check them out. I was aware of them by name, but never bothered to check them out. After seeing so many fine reviews of this album, I finally checked it out - and I was not disappointed. This really is an excellent album with no weak spots. The musicianship is top-notch, the vocal delivery is quite inventive and there is never a place in any of the tracks where you feel the band is becoming repetitive. I was especially impressed with Mick Box's guitar work throughout.

I won't bother with a track-by-track analysis as other reviewers have done a fine job of this already. It is not quite a perfect album, but a worthy addition to anyone's collection for sure.
