3 stars Powerfool at the beginning?

This is the first EP of a very talented band. The songs are retro and have a strong and typical space/psychedelic/krautrock attitude - similar to bands like QUARKSPACE or MR. QUIMBY'S BEARD. Vocals are not so confident, the synthesizer is serving some spacy soundscapes and in particular the good guitar work attracts attention.

Three songs are offered with 21 minutes total length. Nostril land has the same structure as 'C'mon' from MAN with a wonderful guitar dominated jam in the middle. Away you have to listen to for several times in a row - a good one with rough twin guitars. Powerfool is to be the most complex song (of course - it's the title song) with flower power feeling of the late 60s remembering me at JEFFERSON AIRPLANE.

You should visit their homepage. The songs are free for download.
