3 stars I don't like Styx ballad songs. They really bite. There's enough melodrama in the cool rock songs, but that's about it. I could do without "Babe" and "Show Me the Way". Haha, now that I look at the track listing, I honestly think I've never listened to "Don't Let It End". I've had this compilation for like 4 years now. That's pathetic. But really, though, Styx really did have some good material. Mostly. This compilation is really all the casual Styx fan needs. That's me. It's true they do have quite a few other wonderful songs scattered about somewhere on their 70s albums that blow away a lot stuff here, but I can't think of them. This compilation gets the job done with providing you, the listener, all of their most well-known songs in one convenient disc. That's what it's all about, right?

Definitely hitting the skip button: "Babe"
