4 stars Intriguing release by Taylor's Universe here.

Most songs have a rather jazzy grooviness to them, but the songs as such have soundscapes containing more prog and and rock elements than jazz, but with structures more usually found in jazz and fusion though.

Melody lines and atmospheres are the strong points on this release, as well as songs being to a certain extent truly innovative and progressive in the truest meaning of the word.

As there's quite a lot of synths on this release as well as saxophones and clarinets, enjoying a mix of those instruments in a rock/fusion setting is a prerequisite for enjoying this release though.
