![]() Among her better original song of hers are The Crumb and Apple Tree. While there are some rather interesting covers (including the chilling Old Village Churchyard), there is also an idiotic yodelling song closing the album and weak versions of Only A Miner and Honey Babe Blues. An unconditional McCarthy fan might find his/her happiness with this release, but for progheads, unless confirmed fans of FF, this might be left aside, partly for lack of relevance to FF, but also to a general feeling of boredom, as McCarthy songwriting is not exactly up to par with the masters of the genre, but they are not unworthy either: just average stuff done hundreds of time before and heard thousands of time before.
