3 stars 3,5 stars !!! The second album from Czech band CUPRUM "BRAHMA VISNU SIVA" is (in my opinion) slightly superior than the first album "Musica Deposita" and the main diference between the two albuns is a more folk/jazzy approach in detriment ( but not a complete abandon) to the bluesy vein. This characteristic can be heard allready in the track 1 "Cizí mesto v hlavní zemi" and the main melodie whit a guitar flute duo and their "intermediate" theme with a acoustic/electric guitar solo that cearly reminds me a Jethro Tull and Santana "meeting". The track 2 "Urnový háj" starts with a brief martial rhythm and a wahwah guitar cadence in dialogue with flute until 2 min 20 sec when the music turn into an almost space-prog melody, but in the final passage the music returns to the in initial idea. Besides this tracks I can detach the track 5 " Brahma Visnu Siva" with his folk / hard atmospheric sound, the track 7 "Pracuju na pásu" with a certain funk-prog proposition. I must say which I don't consider this album an indispensable item... However ... this one and the previous album deserves a place in my collection !!! My rate is 3 stars !!!
