4 stars Well... From the first second of this CD I have a contrastant impressions. Good but not perfect. "Are You Happy'" and the long titletrack "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" are two 5 stars songs. But the other? Good, only good, today. Certainly the organ are the winning element and the drums solo in "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" are extreme good for this band but I think that the merit of the high vaslutation of this album is only because "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" is the album of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", one of the firsts five all time Prog songs. Not for other "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" was used in one episode of "The Simpsons" like a damned and a generation song. In general is a double feeling album. Good for the first 4 songs and masterpiece for "Are You Happy?" and "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida". The born of Proto Psychedelic Symphonic Prog, in every case.
