In comparison to Zappa's high standard of work, i would rate this a excellent addition to any prog music collection as no doubt a truly great album and many songs on Sheik Yer Bouti had always remained on the live shows,almost turning it into a greatest hits compliation. So for anyone needing a starting point for Zappa i would suggest this,as its musicaly great (as most Zappa Albums) and you get a great introduction for his humour. For fans of this i recommend Zoot Allures & Apostrophe.
