4 stars VROOM... ONE TIME: WHEN I SAY STOP, START!

From a sleevenotes in the booklet: "This was recorded between May 2-7th, 1994 during the first full rehearsals of this, the double trio formation of King Crimson. We present 'VROOM' as a calling card, rater than a love letter, to those generous enough to give it ears". In my opinion this is the soul of "VROOM". This EP (but long with an album!) is a good start with the King Crimson's Prog Metal because the songs are POPpish (aaarrrggghhh!!!) but complicated, modern but sinple. Yes, but with a big cherry on the cake, the beautiful (and really 70's in my opinion) ballad "One Time". Fripp, Belew, Gunn, Levin, Mastelotto and Bruford... suffice this name like guarantee. But this music is great also because is the only Prog Metal for 70's Prog lovers. And in my opinion "VROOM" is a great example of a regeneration of a 70's band in a new field. But always Prog, modern, personal and emotional. King Crimson, guarantee of great music.
