HISTORY NEVER REPEATS: THE BEST OF SPLIT ENZ (AUSTRALIAN VERSION)

Other than radio and TV, this was really the first cd I heard by Split Enz, its a great compilation of their more successful hit songs, but their are many omissions both from thier prog periuod and pop phase notably Bold as Brass, Sweet Dreams, Take a Walk, Spellbound, Stranger than Fiction; the list goes, on but since the double cd Spellbound is a far superior compilation this compilation is a little redundant now. This CD compilation wuoldn' hurt if you found it in the bargain bin but I just isn't truly representative of the band, go for Spellbound for a more representaive retrospect of the bands career. Two stars.
