5 stars My ALL-TIME Greatest #25

I chose the video rather than the audio-only version of this fabulous concert because this is a visual besides an unparalleled musical experience.
When 4 years ago PA re-opened for me the doors I for long thought closed forever, this was the first saloon I stepped in, and what a feast was going on inside!

Global Appraisal

A reunion of great musicians, with various personalities and backgrounds, forming a coherent unit that succeeds to attain more, much more, than the sum of its parts, that's the bottom line of this project.

The goal of the tour was, besides promoting the namesake album, to further showcase the whole career of the band, with special focus on the epics.
So we are taken along a relentless succession of epic compositions (and a few not so long, interspersed for decompressing) of the highest progressive caliper, that grabs us right from the first notes and never lets go for more than 3 hours.

Tired?
Not a chance, the visible pleasure between the musicians onstage, shared by the rejoicing audience, that ultimately reaches you at home (imagine being there!) represents what might be an experience of a lifetime.

Goodies

Melody and energy, the Yin and Yang that side-by-side erupts from a pair of exceptionally gifted musicians/friends by the names of Neal and Mike: not at the least diminishing the equally high level of the contributions of the other 3 gentlemen, it's the tandem that for our enjoyment lightens the whole show with their visible shared pleasure in creating music.
