5 stars I remember when I first heard this band about a year ago. I was having a discussion about music with a friend and I said "There aren't many 'Wow' musicians and composers nowadays, nothing new or original...". I had no idea how wrong I was until he pointed me to Negura Bunget's website and I was amazed at the wonderful music I found therein.

Soon after I went and purchased "Om" which I found delicious! It managed to satisfy my prog sensibilities in a way nothing has done in a very long time (Not since Voivod's heyday).

This band uses a lot of primitive Romanian folk instrumentation and some symphonic prog influences such as organs and lush keyboards.

The lyrics are sung in Romanian which adds to the mystique and beauty of the album.

Excellent and highly recommended to those who like their music to be boundary-shattering and emotionally stimulating at the same time.
