Hail Black Sabbath for making the first true metal album.Yes it is true others dabled but Sabbath perfected the art form.The first track with the thunder,bells and cheesy satanic imagiry is a masterpiece.The Wizard shows the bands blues roots.The rawness of this album adds to the effect.This is not the best Sabbath album but the most original and whos a better vocalist in all metal than Ozzy?Not Rob Halford,King Diamond,Russal Allan or Bruce Dikenson as great as they are all fall short.Remember Ideas and originality can match raw talent.
