4 stars This is an interesting release from Red Sparowes, a benefit CD to recover the costs of rented equipment which was stolen from their van whilst on tour. Judging by the curse on the back of the album cover Red Sparowes are not a band to get on the wrong side of, they're not the forgiving types.

Of course the most important thing with an album is the music within and on this live album the band are on great form and amazingly they are more powerful and also more subtle than on their studio recordings.

The set list is a good mix of songs from At the Soundless Dawn and Every Red Heart Shines Towards The Red Sun, particular highlights for me are; The Great Leap Forward Poured Down Upon Us One Day Like A Mighty Storm Suddenly And Furiously Blinding Our Senses and Buildings Began To Stretch Wide Across The Sky, And The Air Filled With A Reddish Glow, but the quality of the music remains very high through out the entire album.

Unfortunately the production of the album is not as good as it could be but it's not bad enough to affect the quality of the music within. The CD case is also a slight disappointment whilst the artwork (including curse) is very well done the case is just a basic slip wallet.

Overall this is a very strong album but probably not one for those who aren't fans of the band.
