5 stars The Moodies song 'New Horizons' is a beautiful piece of music but I think Justin Haywood said (unless I'm mistaken,) that it was influence by James Hilton's 'Lost Horizon'. The guitars a wonderful, they have always had a sort of hopeful sound, along with some questions...the acoustic guitar gives the sense of folk influence and festivals that were prevalent in the sixties. There is also a sense of the end of life or time in their music. One wonders what they would have sounded like with Wakeman or Emerson...I would like to hear a progressive rock orchestra made up of all of some of the following: ELP, ELO, Yes, King Crimson, Genesis, Todd Rundgren, Rush; only sythesized strings no orchestra.
