2 stars For a while I thought Feedback was an actual Rush album since I saw it on the shelves pretty much every time I looked in the music store to see what prog they had, but once I finally listened to it I realized the truth: it's a remake album of the classic rock songs that inspired the band, and not a bad remake at that. I rate this a two on the grounds that the songs are remade well, with a good Rush hard rock flavor without losing the original songs, much at all. Only a few songs really caught my interest much though, notably Summertime Blues, the Seeker, and Crossroads, but other than that the songs themselves, IMO, weren't really that good to start with, but I guess that's my own musical taste. There are scarcely any progressive moments, nor was I expecting any, of course. It seems like the band did this album for their own enjoyment, for it is composed of the songs that got them going in the first place, which is somewhat significant in itself. I still wouldn't really call it much of an album, but it works for fans of Rush, such as me, for certain.
