5 stars Yup this is the lost radio gnome part 4 album, and in my opinion this is even beter then Gongs you and most of the Gong members even play on it, all the players are ofcourse first class the top canterbury guys escpecialy Dave Stewart one of my favorite keyboard palyer realy ads with his amazing skills. Steve even says in the linernotes he wrote most of the songs during the recording of You and played em with the band so if Allen hadent left and they hade made another Gong album with that line up thise songs whuld probobly have ended up on it. The opening Solar music suit is the epic of the album, and i have to say i realy like steves voice its far from the best voice ever but its nice and fiting for the music. Fish and Meditation of the Snakes are 2 shorter song that sounds very Gong sounding with silly vocals and all that. The Salmon Song is probobly the fastes an most rocking song on the album, the ending Aftaglid starts with wierd sounds before the guitar kicks in and an amazing space jam follows very nice ending to one of the best real space rocks albums ever. Pink floyd are listed under space rock but this album is more space rock then anything they ever did in my opinion. When you buy the album make sure as always its the latest remaster which hast 2 very good bonus track Pentagrammaspin starts with some sinister sounding guitar sounds before goin into a real funky jam and some very cool singing by Hillage in the slower part, Aftaglid (Original Power Trio backing track) is a rawer veriosn of the album song pretty much not that difrent from what i can hear but i dont mind lisening to it again so i never skip. So simply this is a Essential: a masterpiece of progressive space rock guitar music everyone shuld own no mather what your into this will no doubt please. and i yust have to say before ending the rewieve that this is very nice music to lisen to while you take a walk i been lisening to this when i been out recently and its very good i usualy lisen to Tangerine dream when i go out for a walk but this works very well too. It was also very easy to get into i liked it the first lisen and havent got tierd of it after many lisens and months later. Highly recomended!
