3 stars I entirely agree with the majority of PA collaborators when they give 3 stars to Canadian band THE ARC LGHT SESSIONS "Perchance to Dream". In fact, this album stay a midway betweem symphonic and neo-prog and in my opinion, although don' t presents none great instrumental moments... but, is a easy and pleasant audience, without weak moments ! The best moments are in track 2 " ...Only To Awake " with a beautiful lead electric guitar theme, track 3 "There Will Come a Day" with moog which reminds me Manfred Mann's style, track 4 "Eye of the Storm" a almost "martial-theme" with a strong marked drums and guitar and keyboards ( this last in a flute register), track 10 "Deception Days' with a gret vocal interpretation . .. however this aren't a really detach... only for cite some moments.... how I said before the album don't shows weak momenst ! My rate is 3 stars !!! But I reserve a space in my collection !
