5 stars My favorite Beatles album for ever and ever. Nasty sleeve, really horrible, but the tracks are all absolutely wonderful. Side A : the music from the TV-movie Magical Mystery Tour, about 50 minutes of a psychedelic adventure in a magic bus. 6 tracks, including an instrumental one, named Flying, and radically underrated. You could imagine yourself flying when you listen to it. Favorite track from this first side : maybe I am the Walrus (GOO GOO GOO JOOB !), or The Fool On The hill, which is pretty as could be. Side B, a collection of singles (including my favorite Beatles songs of all times, Strawberry Fields Forever). Yes, it broke the continuity of the album (anyway, the Beatles's soundtrack records are all made in the same way : only the first side is the soundtrack, the remainder is a collection of non- soundtrack singles), but it's also marvellous...I just have been listened to All You Need Is Love too much times, it bores me a little now. My favorite Beatles album. One of their best releases. A must-have !
