5 stars Im totaly agree with Ivan Melgar and clarke 2001. Its not so much since i discovered the prog style but now that i have almost all the albums rewied here ( i mean those that appear as the better ones in each style) i can say that these album is beyond prog, and beyond mere experimentalism. Is simple breathtaking beauty that demands from you a little thinking just because the perfect acoplation between music, conceptual composition , lyrics. I am myself spanish, and even as i cannot understand with perfection the lyrics ( I understand almost 80% of them) is simply emotionaly and intelectualy irresistible: Try to think a little different , you have not been fabricated by a great god , but what its created has been created full from fiber, energy and heat. !!! What a great begining! maybe it doesnt mean nothing to you if you dont listen the disc but..... then he starts to talk about the earth been pregnant in a cloud and his son made of mater and electricity. This is full blown irresistible high-cultured atheism. An epic based in a mithological view over evolution. The disc Dawkins must have in his desk X ) The music is superb and the lyrics are incredibly( for me) poetical and cientifical in a way at the same time. The second part is a strong rythm that have a wild pagan crescendo quality, like a modern carmina burana, mixed with perfect jazzy pianos- the lyrics fit like a glove in the music but i wont be boring ( yo can find the lyrics in internet). La conquista..... is perfect( sorry but it is) with is roaring like sounds(and monster bass) and its mysteric main theme that develops against the hauting sounds in a phase of struggle, and in one moment ( in a progressive developing without jumps, sorry) you see it up-rising like the man it-self heading to the sky as he stands up to an erect position... the singing part of the end simply superb lyricaly and musicaly( what pianos). Then the danza...is fantastic is a minor-key jazz song that turns in to simply magestic in the chorus. Its like the two parts of the great dinosaurs the fragile nature and the titanic nature in them dancing together. Its cool such a jazzy view on dinosaurs and is kind of showing them in emotive way like they were not very distant in a way to us. Later comes cento mani.. yes over the herd of haunting demi-humans , the music is rampant, hard , complex at times with lyrical passages between the agressive main theme, at almost the end it changes into a much lyrical theme that returns perfectly to the main theme, these time with sounds of marching haunters. 750.000 anni fa.....Làmore I write it complet because any other thing is a crime. These beyond perfection song about the beggining of love when man realizes of its fragilty, mortality..he realize his life is passing is like a leavee in the wind, then he turns to its loved sister with these heartrendering feeling and conscience. Really a emotional breaking, not really strange because being poetic about love in the concept framework of neodarwinism is something that only Banco can do X) Miserere begins with a kind fake dancing-like rythm, then it turns kind of dark satyrical demonic review on a historic error: concentrating in god better than in the man. The music is superb hard, progresive, sinfonic , pagan masterpiece. The last song beggins with a squeaking noise, that is trying to enfasize that theres something squeaking for conscience in all the disc, something hardly-bareable but intense. The music is a beatifull typical italian song with prog touches. These disc leaves you breathless like something very big has come upon you , you dont know exactly if its a good or bad experience but surely it has been intense.....and goddamned beatifull!!!
