ARNOLD LAYNE

This CD is my first David Gilmour CD that I purchased. I purchased this single because is a Syd Barrett's tribute and because in one song is present David Bowie. The two version of 'Arnold Lane' are equivalent. But David Bowie manages to make even more interesting 'Arnold Lane' with his voice, also Richard Wright is good. 'Dark Globe' is only a song for acoustic guitar and voice. This single is recorded live and this situation helped many the good final result. But the Prog is virtually absent. It remains only great music and a great tribute to a myth: Syd Barrett.
