1 stars It is always sad to see a respectable musician putting his reputation on stake just in order to earn a miserable buck. (I'm writing this review using the vinyl edition containing only 8 tracks (there are 5 bonustracks on the re-release)). If one chooses to title an album >Before I forget< you would expect some memorable tracks, wouldn't you? Well, in fact it's just a matter of picking the songs that are not a complete failure - and then we find Bach onto this, Burntwood and maybe Tender Babes (with its odd combination of Renaissance music and Cozy Powell's powerhouse drumming). The other tracks are of the most embarrasing MOR style and lack character. They could have been written by anyone. I really don't know whats got into Jon Lord when he recorded this album. I wish I never had bought it. For completionists only.
