1 stars Well after now listening to all the work of Fates Warning i feel i have to say a few words about them. Fates Warning are no more than a AOR band with extended songs,,,,so does that make them prog rock,,,,I think not. On this album as the previous albums are the vocals are terrible,,,,screaming or singing in high notes does the vocalist no favours. Yes they started out as a heavy rock band and in my opinion they should have stayed as that as they may have acheived more success as that. Have they ever written a classic,,,,no they have not,but in saying that they have done some pretty decsent songs but no more than that, All in all they are no more than AOR and really thats the truth
