4 stars Really impressed by some reviews concerning World Record , an excellent work of VDGG , and...... AS I PROMISED few months ago , i'll try to go through all this incredible band discography , and review what i find necessary in my opinion . World Record is not at all different from the two masterpieces Pawn & Goldbluff , with few minor changes , and at least there's no complexity in this album , and to be completely honest in describing my feeling about this album ,,,,, WHAT THE OTHER PROGGERS HATE IN THIS WORK , was more than satisfying to my taste . The long reggae jam , the simplicity in using guitars riffs , the pro use of wind instruments in the right places , not to mention the flow of harmonies by intensive keyboards played by Hugh , always supporting the band , and solo when needed , And ,, finally Peter's superb vocal , specially when whispering .... All tracks are exceptionnal , and deserves more and more attention from you fellow proggers . Hoping that in the near furure , this album gets what he deserves . Excellent & Recommended for all proggers by all means .............. Tracks Toni
