5 stars As several others have written, this is a fantastic album which I highly recommend to anyone who craves interesting, unconventional and mind-bending music. The compositions are extremely intricate, adventurous and often just plain wild. The same goes for the instrumentation, which features heavy use of flute, fuzz bass, piano and all sorts of percussion (xylophone, marimba?). The band is tight as hell, a major accomplishment when you consider all the weird time signatures, syncopations and stops and starts.

The music can be delicate one moment, and then quickly morph into very muscular sections....but it never stays still for long. I've never heard a band whose songs change as often and as quickly as Dun. My first impression is that this band will appeal to fans of Gentle Giant, King Crimson, Henry Cow, Soft Machine, Nazca, Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart. An extremely pleasant discovery for me.
