TUBULAR BELLS

Mike Oldfield did a amazing job on this album. He composed the whole thing at a very young age and learned a lot of instruments. This is a very famous album and it's great that lot's of people have heard this. The 15/8 melody is really great and spooky. The only point is that I think it's not really one piece. Sometimes melodies (great melodies however) get out of nowhere. He could have maked it more subtle. It's very progressive, very inspiring, but not quite a whole. I would have given the record five stars, if he could create such wonderful melodies, but also with consistency in it. This is the reason i gave this record three stars.
