5 stars Wow! Amazing album! What I can say? Colours was the album that kept me high and dry each time I listened to it. It's very difficult to describe the music from this Eloy album;you must listen to it and that says everything. From the first note and listening to the female voices the album introduces the picturesqueness and the beauty of progressive music and the front cover stands for it. We've got here the mixture of beauty in music (expressed by splendid keyboard and guitar parts, don't forget the flute and the warm voice of Frank Bornemann) and the beauty of nature in an almost heavenly way. Each song is very representative, the music flows from one song to another, ending in an instrumental one, a sonorous jewelry( i.e Sunset). The first bonus-track from the remastered CD makes the album complete. Excellent song with an impressive title. A good point and another pinnacle for this band after the weighty Silent Cries... A must have for a good progressive collection. 5 stars!
