THE BARRY WILLIAMS SHOW

This is the single for one of the Up's singles, The Barry Williams Show. We all know Peter Gabriel, and being this a review of a single, i won't talk about him nor Genesis etc.

I won this single in a local website some months ago, the price was very cheap so that is why i decided to bought it. What we can find here are 2 different versions of The Barry Williams Show, the first one is the radio edit, you know the single with mere commercial purposes the one that has to be played in radio station where the average range are 4 to 5 minutes per song. The second version is the original one, the one you can find in the album Up and which lasts more than 7 minutes, and we cannot deny that from the Up album, this is one of the better known songs, which doesn't mean is one of the best. Personally, i would put this song into the half of less favourites from that album, it is practically a catchy song with nice lyrics and instrumentation, but he has made way better things.

Next song is My Head Sounds Like That which is a remix by a band from Norway (i believe) called Royksopp, i am not familiar with them but i assume they do kind of electronic music, it's a nice remix anyway but you may get bored after a few minutes (just as i do), can find the original version in the Up album as well.

The last song is Cloudless, an unknown song to me, but according to what i read is the last song from the Long Walk Home album, a totally Real World song, if you know Peter Gabriel's Real World, you know what i mean.

Buy this if you find it cheap, otherwise is not worth it. For PG fans, 2 stars!
