2 stars The Dutch space rock's debut album is the only thing I heard from them and I am unable to tell you whether the later albums are close to this one. Here the sextet has taken to a metallic sort of space rock, somewhere stuck between Hawkwind's binarity once in full flight, Ozric Tentacles' full flight delire and some progmetal band's crunchy uncompromising riffy guitars with a semi-doom metallic singer ala Motorhead/Opeth maybe (although not a guttural) . While the first two or three tracks might be amusing and interesting, however, we're confronted with a fairly repetitive feel and sure enough, boredom sweeps you halfway through. Just consider this album as a long classic Hawkwind track with extra-mean guitars and vocals that are stretched out and cut in slightly varying versions. Nice to hear once, but I doubt you'll want to sit this album with the master of the genres on your shelves.
