4 stars My favourate record of Threshold.

The first one with Mac on vocals, this one is a concept record of wich I never fully understood the story line. But apparently so doesn't lyricist bassist Jon Jeary :)

The album is mostly mid-tempo avoiding the heavy metal cliches so often found in the follow-up albums. A definate highlight on this album is Bowie-esque Sunrise on Mars, wich features probably Karl's best solo ever.

This album has sadly not been remastered, and we're still waiting for it. Maybe the band can finally explain what the story is about.

Another great song on the album is Voyager II with it's dark foreboding ending with female vocals. Simply sublime.

5 stars!
