5 stars This is the live album from the Ultimate Genesis Tour. It was amazing - the stage, the originality, the power, the songs and the musicians - simply a dream. The audience was totally mesmerised and the mix of songs very well thought out - with this album one gets a feel for all the varied life history of the band, from the early prog seventies to the power melodious rock of the 80s and 90s.

Conversations with two sticks is a well-crafted drum duet concocted by PHIL COLLINS and CHESTER THOMPSON - it all starts by using normal stools and then proceeds to the full drum kits, unleashing power, grace and a strong dose of originality. This was the highlight of the tour.

The individual tracks are not all taken from the same concert as the producer preferred to take the best versions from all the european tour - resulting in the best possible mix and the end result of listening to the best of the best.

This final night of this tour was performed in Rome, Italy in front of a 500,000 strong crowd on the 14th July 2007. For a complete audio visual experience go for the DVD WHEN IN ROME. The combination of sound, screen visuals and showmanship is second to none. - ENJOY ! DEFINITELY 5 STAR
