4 stars Wow! What a great treat for Journey´s fans! It is a mixture of live appearances (mostly taken from the then unreleased Houston Texas Escape tour of 1981) and music videos they made through the years. It shows how good they were live, but they also made some interesting (and sometimes hilarious) videos. Most interesting is their early stuff like Just The Same Way and Feeling that Way (both of them featuring Gregg Rolie on lead vocals), but not only. The most recent is the very well done 1996´s When You Love A Woman. For some strange reason only the three live shots from the 1986 Raised On Radio tour seemed out of place here (maybe they got too much into the 80´s synth pop, but still the songs were not bad)

More than anything the video is a journey (pun intended) into the world of the band, a good picture of that time (the clothing and the hair styles are quite telling) and more than anything it shows their music was stronger and better than a lot of people thought (and some still do) and more durable than any critic had predicted. Besides they were a great live band (Neil Schon is really good) and Steve Perry was not only a great singer but also a fantastic showman on stage.

Definitly a must have for any Journey fan.
