3 stars Frank always scoffed when other musicians said his music and image influenced them. Modesty aside, this album proves his musical spirit still has serious pull. This is a very entertaining listen, kind of like if Zappa decided to play jam band music like Umphrey's McGee. Ike Willis' turn on the second track is terrific and this short (thirty four minutes) album is a winner. Clever ideas grace each song and the execution of the objective is spot on. Tight guitar and organ driven grooves are found on every song, no ballads here. Three point five stars, a nice listen that fits well in my collection. Kind of a cool band name as well and the cover art is clever.
