4 stars Here it is the album I have been pretty excited about for a while. Steven Wilson the solo album!

Harmony Korine - This song is the most powerful song on the entire album. The song starts off very smooth. It is not until the chorus that the song really starts to pick up. This song very much is in the style of Porcupine Tree. You can always tell a SW song because of the high production sound you always here in the background of the song. ****

Abandoner - At first listen this song reminded me of Radiohead Kid A album. The thing that stands out on this song is the radio static beat in the background. I also find the use of the bells in the background pretty cool. The song ends with a dark tension. This is another great song with a very strong PT element in it. ***

Salvaging - This song offers a lot to the listener. It starts off with some cool horns and some really nice sounds. It transitions with some mild vocals and nice bass as the songs starts to build you then hear the roar of the guitar. It is around the five minute mark the song starts to change with some high production soundscapes and symphonic sounds. ***

Venemo Para Las Hadas - For the PT fans that love the album "The Sky Moves Sideways" you will love this song. Classic PT stuff which is awesome! ****

No Twilight Within The Courts Of The Sun - The guitar in the beginning of this song is very different from what you would typically hear. It is not until the 3min mark you will hear the PT sound. Then the music mellows out and the vocals start in and slowly build a very powerful segment. The music reminds of Deadwing at times. I will have to agree with other reviews in saying this is the most progressive song on the album. ****

Significant Other - This song stars off sounding like something you would hear on Blackfield or No-Man leaning more toward No-Man. When I hear music like this I would rather hear Tom Bowness sing rather then SW. Don't get me wrong this song has plenty of PT sound to overshadow my feelings that this song should have been a No-Man song. ****

Only Child - It is dark and dangerous and stays true to form to the music SW enjoys to create. ***

Twilight Coda - Here is another song I feel could have been a No-Man song. (Instrumental) ***

Get All You Deserve - This is a typical PT sound. This song reminds me of the following PT songs "Heartattack in a Lay By", "Collapse the Light into Earth" and Lazarus. It may because the piano drives this song. ***

Insurgentes - Alright this is the best song on the album. SW has mastered this formula. ****

Overall - This is a great addition for your collection! ****
