3 stars Good album, some excellent tracks - the opener is great, along with the firs tracks, all the way through to Dear Dead Days - sadly then the album takes a wrong turn and the rest of the tracks are simply disappointing. They're softer, granted, but not in the good soft way like the excellent track Saline is done. The final track sets you up for an impressive ride, and it made me hopeful - an epic! Wow! 16 minutes! Awesome! ...So why is it mostly silence with a pretty wimpy hidden track at the end? Terrible way to end the album.

However, that said, the first 5 tracks are still great, dominated by very neo-prog-esque keyboard riffs, awesome guitar chords and catchy vocals. It took a while working out the gender of the vocalist on the first listen, though! Definitely a stand out is Dear Dead Days featuring awesome riffs thoughout, with the title track also being excellent. Second track comes close to their level.

Good album if you can excuse the worse tracks towards the end.
